Gramacri works closely with Primary Schools fulfilling their languages and environmental education PPA Cover and after-school clubs needs.

We offer Spanish, French, Italian, German and Mandarin Chinese. Our Curriculum is thought for children from EYFS to KS2.

All our programmes are in line with the National Curriculum 2014,and the Sustainability and Climate Change Strategy 2022. They are focused around progression and a different topic is taught each half term. 

We believe that education plays a vital role in helping tackle climate change. As a result, we have combined environmental learning with languages teaching to reinforce environmental awareness and sustainability among young people while learning a foreign language.

PPA Cover

Covering PPA in schools since 2018, we pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality MFL and environmental education cover for all of our partner schools. Two specific programmes are offered – children can follow either a curriculum that offers a combination of a foreign language with an environmental education, or solely a curriculum which teaches about the environment.

At Gramacri we believe strongly in making lessons fun, therefore we involve a mix of music, songs, games, stories, videos and role-play. In addition, our programmes include a full curriculum which meets (and exceeds!) Ofsted requirements. We provide robust planning and sequencing documents, mapping each lesson with the appropriate learning intention. 

Our Schemes of Work

CPD courses

We provide Free of charge CPD courses for all our partner schools such as: Preparing for a MFL Deep Dive; Including pupils with SEND in Primary MFL; Effective differentiation for MFL; Long-term memory strategies and much more.

Afterschool clubs

Gramacri offer either MFL clubs or eco-clubs for all our partner schools. We will deliver engaging languages sessions combined with environmental learning with lot of fun, or eco-green clubs that will empower students to participate and take up meaningful environmental activities and projects during school holidays, or after school.

MFL clubs

The emphasis of our Languages Clubs is on fun including songs, rhymes, stories and lots of games. Children love Bingo, Simon says, Who wants to be a Millionaire, words tennis, hangman and much more. We also provide outdoor language sessions in the school’s garden increasing access to, and connection with, nature.

Eco-clubs

By starting an Eco-club at your school you will actually make both: a positive impact to our planet, as well as a huge difference to your pupils’ education. Our emphasis will be to empower youth to lead a cultural transformation that optimizes health and sustains the environment.  In our eco-club children will:

• learn what to recycle and how;
• use recycled materials;
• paint, draw, colour, cut and glue;
• watch documentaries and tutorials;
• start and maintain student action campaigns;
• learn about habitat restoration;
• engage with green labs;
• engage with garden activities;
• connect with nature;
• clean up trash from local parks or schools yard;
• monitor recycling bins;
• learn the art of glass painting.

Fly with us

Fly to Spain, France, Italy or Germany with us. At the end of each academic year at Gramacri we run a Best Work Competition. All our students across Key Stage 2 will take part. The winner will get 3 tickets (1 child & 2 adults) to fly to the country of their Target Language. Contact us for more details.
